EquiMotion Riding Lessons
Lesson 1: SIT BONES
The "Sit Bones" lesson teaches you how to perceive and achieve "Neutral Pelvis" which is the foundation for a balanced seat while riding. As you will learn, this neutral position is not one that you find and then hold as though it were a correct position. It is a dynamic posture that provides you the capacity to respond to your horse's movement whether it is a transition you requested or something totally unexpected, like a spook.

Lesson 2: PELVIC CLOCK
The "Pelvic Clock" lesson demonstrates ways to obtain fluidity in your body while following the motion of the horse. Always being able to flow with sudden, unexpected movements is as important to any rider as staying with the motion during a ride and consider how much easier it is for a horse to execute tasks while carrying a rider that is supple and soft. We require freedom of movement in our horses, why not begin by establishing it in ourselves?

Lesson 3: ROTATION
In this lesson you will gain greater separation between upper and lower body and learn how to communicate your intention of turning to your horse in one easy movement.
